| When I decided to undertake the Master in Tunnelling and Tunnel Boring Machines, edition 2005/2006, I was working as a Geothechnical Engineer in a small local consultancy. The Master was a unique opportunity to enter the fascinating world of tunnels. I had the chance to meet international experts, learn from their experience and create a wide professional network. For the internship I was seconded to Astaldi S.p.A. on the costruction site of Brescia Metro, where I shadowed the TBM engineer. Straight after the Master I joined Halcrow Group Ltd. in London, to get involved into the Crossrail project. I currently work as a tunnelling engineer within Impregilo S.p.A. |
